Duran Duran
A great surprise was "Relax" with "Notorious" - quite clever. They still have it - after 30 years of playing together, they are so relaxed on stage. My only complaint is that they played too many new songs...where was "Girls on Film" ? They were great as always. By the end of the night, they proved that they absolutely loved their mix of Careless Memories - a true classic. I wish Jason Cheny would have opened up with a new song versus a classic. Like every fan, we have our list of what we want to hear but really, the folks coming out to see them are the ones who have been fans for many years and want to hear their favorites - to step back in time for a few hours. I do still love them - after all of these years. A true bonus of the night was their opening act, Neon Trees...a great live band with great stage presence.
